How a live pause works
- Brief the worst ROAS campaigns from synced Google or Meta data.
- Propose a pause. You get a campaign name, reason, and action id. Ads stay ENABLED.
- You confirm. Only then does Kampalo pause the live campaign.

- Connect OAuth or pick new ad accounts
- Change budgets or create campaigns
- Shopify or TikTok writes
- Pause without a proposal plus your explicit confirm
- Turn a live auto-pause rule on without you asking
Connect
In Kampalo open Settings → API Keys and generate a personal MCP key (Starter and Enterprise). Point any MCP client at https://be.kampalo.com/mcp with that key as Authorization: Bearer. The key is scoped to your account. Production MCP is not /api.

What is the Kampalo Grok Bot plugin?

How do I get an MCP API key?
In the Kampalo app: Settings → API Keys → Generate key. Copy the full kmp_ value once and paste it as the Bearer token for https://be.kampalo.com/mcp. That personal key is scoped to your login. It is not the server MCP_API_KEY env var. Free cannot generate a key. Works in Cursor, Grok Bot, Claude, or any MCP client.
Can Grok Bot pause live campaigns?
Yes, in two steps. First it proposes a pause from campaigns already selected in Kampalo. The live campaign stays on until you explicitly confirm. In-app Kai stays read-only; only Grok Bot / MCP can confirm a pause.
Does Grok Bot change budgets or create campaigns?
No. It does not connect accounts, change budgets, create campaigns, or write Shopify or TikTok. Live ROAS auto-pause stays in dry-run until you ask to turn it on.
