What Kampalo does in Slack

Ask Kai in a DM

Message the Kampalo app like a colleague. Kai keeps the thread for a couple of hours, so follow-ups work. Type new to start over.

@Kampalo in a channel

Mention @Kampalo in any channel it has joined. Kai replies in a thread, so the answer stays with the question.

Alerts as DMs

Everything in your Kampalo bell, including ROAS and spend alerts, sync results and reports, delivered as a DM with a link back to Kampalo.

Reports with a Confirm button

Ask for a report or a weekly schedule. Kai proposes it with Generate PDF or Schedule it buttons, and the PDF lands in the thread.

Try asking

  • “How did Google and Meta do this week?”
  • “Which campaigns have the worst ROAS?”
  • “What changed in Search Console traffic since last month?”
  • “Send me a performance report PDF for the last 30 days.”
  • “Email me a weekly Google Ads report every Monday at 9.”

Answers use your Kai tokens, the same as in the app. Type help for examples or new to start a fresh conversation.

Nothing runs until you click

  • Report PDFs and report schedules are proposals with Confirm and Cancel buttons. Nothing runs until you click.
  • Only the person who asked Kai can confirm. Teammates in the channel cannot click it through for you.
  • Campaign pauses and budget changes are not confirmed in Slack. Kai points you to Kampalo to review them.
  • Each person links their own Slack account, so Kai answers with that person’s Kampalo access and role.
  • Turn Slack notifications off at any time without disconnecting, or disconnect in one click.

Want pauses and budget changes in chat?

The Kampalo plugin for AI assistants can propose and confirm campaign pauses and budget changes, set alerts and save ROAS rules. Starter and Enterprise.

FAQ

How do I connect Kampalo to Slack?

In the Kampalo app open Settings → Plugins & API keys, choose Connect Slack, pick your workspace and allow the app. Each teammate connects their own Slack account so Kai answers with their own access.

Which plans include Slack?

Any plan can connect Slack and get notifications as DMs. Kai answers in Slack use your Kai tokens, which Starter and Enterprise include and any plan can buy (£3.50 per 500,000). Report PDFs and schedules follow your plan’s reporting features.

Can Kai pause a campaign from Slack?

No. In Slack, Kai can propose report PDFs and report schedules for you to confirm. Pauses and budget changes are confirmed in Kampalo or through the Kampalo plugin in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok or Glama.

Who sees Kai’s answers in a channel?

Everyone in that channel thread, like any Slack message. Use a DM with the Kampalo app for numbers you would rather keep to yourself.

What happens when I disconnect?

You stop getting Kampalo DMs and Kai stops answering you in Slack. Teammates who connected their own Slack are not affected. When the last person disconnects, Kampalo removes its app from that Slack workspace.
